Consigning -How it Works

Looking for an easy way to clear out your closet for a new season or a new you? Fantastic! Bring in your clean, pressed women’s clothing and accessories and we will happily review them to see if they are a good fit for consignment. Due to limited space, we will only select items that are:

  • Deemed to be a good fit for our customers

  • In season

  • In the best condition

  • Clean and pressed

  • No more than 2 years old

After 11 years we know what our customers are likely to buy. Please do not take it personally if we don’t take all of your items for consignment. We adore our consigners and make it a top priority to build lasting relationships built on friendship, trust, and fairness.

Couture Revival Consignment Policy

The consignment period is 12 weeks. Prices are set by C. R. and merchandise is subject to price reductions for “Sale” purposes, until items are sold or returned to the consignor.

Items left for consignment must be in CLEAN/PRESSED condition. If items are taken for cleaning, the cost will be deducted from the consigner’s balance owed. If an item doesn’t sell, Consignor is responsible for cleaning charges.

The consignor will receive 40% of the selling price which may be requested at any time once the item has sold. An account that remains inactive for a period of 2 years will be considered ”Closed” and any money on the inactive account will be forfeited by the consignor.

**IT IS THE CONSIGNOR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO PICK UP UNSOLD ITEMS WITHIN TWO WEEKS FOLLOWING THE CONSIGNMENT END DATE. We do not call to remind you!

THE REMAINING ITEMS GET DONATED AFTER THAT TIME. It is advised that you call IN to let us know you ARE COMING TO COLLECT the remaining items 1 week in advance so that we can gather them for your arrival.**

COUTURE REVIVAL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF MERCHANDISE DUE TO THEFT OR NATURAL DISASTER. MERCHANDISE IS LEFT AT THE CONSIGNOR’S RISK.
